A good teacher is like a candle. It consumes itself to light the way for others.

          Teachers’ day was celebrated with great zeal and enthusiasm at the study. A special assembly was conducted by the students of class XII. The assembly started by giving a tribute to the great visionary Dr.Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan.  This was followed by ‘Guru Vandhanam’ and the teachers were honoured  with a floral tribute. To express their love towards teachers Lillian of class XII recited a poem composed by her. Ridha .S. Methar spoke on the significance of Teachers’ Day.  The students entertained the teachers with music and dance. The PTA President Mr. Shanavas spoke about the importance of being a teacher and felicitated the teachers with mementoes. The campus was gripped with fervour as students put their best foot and showed their mark of respect to their teachers.
